Occupy: An Email of support from Dennis Kucinich also a web page

http://kucinich.us/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=28938&Itemid=2
More support for the Occupy Movement from Congressman Dennis Kucinich, plus a reminder about the bill chock full of solutions that he's introduced, and that has gotten 0 mainstream media attention. The bill has been referred to a House Subcommittee on Finance and Monetary Stuff, that happens to be currently Chaired by Ron Paul, so I'm thinking that if the American people run this up the flag pole with Representatives in a big way, it should at the very least have a great public debate, and at the most it could fix the economy and guarantee a thousand years of peace... assuming everybody also decides to be nice to each other, and remembers the decision...

I just realized that I regularly abandon tools due to the ethics of companies that purchase the companies that make the tools

I just realized that I regularly abandon tools due to the ethics of companies that purchase the companies that make the tools ---  This is because Microsoft bought Skype, and because Adobe bought Macromedia.  Also, the Microsoft partnership to bring Skype to Facebook has, for me, an unfavorable flavor to it, as awesome as the concept is.  I was just reviewing my earliest received e-mails in my GMail, and remembered how much I loved working in Flash, back when it was Macromedia, because I have the email with my Macromedia Account information from 2004... and Adobe bought in 2005, and I completely dropped it from my acceptable tools list after Adobe took control...  and I suspect the same will ultimately become true of both Skype and Facebook for me:  The Ethics of the Entities that control the Tools are Too Questionable for me to consider the tools acceptable, regardless of the quality of them.  My Communication Software Environment must be built and maintained ONLY by those who have consistently demonstrated that they are of the highest degree of ethical responsibility.  Anything less is as unacceptable in the long view as allowing those who have consistently demonstrated themselves unethical in action to hold positions of governance.  This begs the question, "What does Ethical Mean?"  You can easily look it up.  And immediately it becomes obvious that there are grey areas.  Fine --- there are grey areas.  That's understood.  And it's important to be aware of these and seek a deeper understanding of why and how moral codes differ.  That being said, there are things that are True/False Ethical/Unethical no question about, and 99.9% polled would generally agree on those things.... and these are the things that are unacceptable in the governing people in any position in government or communications where it is critical.  I mean this is basic common sense stuff that any attorney general would probably say and has said, but hey, as long as I've got a bloggy thingy where I can rant when something to rant about occurs, neat-o.  I feel better for sharing with the world that I just realized that I abandon tools when they become controlled by what I consider unethical entities.   And that it seems commonsensical, and everyone probably does abandon tools and environments, to an extent, when they're aware of critical concerns related to the usage of the tools and environments.  Like after Rupert Murdoch bought MySpace?  All it takes is another option, and when it comes to ways of communicating there's always another option.  Always.
